Nathan Adelson Hospice is looking for caring individuals who are interested in volunteering in the Pahrump community.  Volunteers provide interaction and companionship to home hospice patients, allowing caregivers to run errands or get respite. 

 To qualify, volunteers must:

• Complete an application and provide references
• Obtain background check clearance – which requires applicants to provide a social security number and a driver’s license or state ID
• Receive tuberculosis clearance – which includes a blood test
• Complete 6-8 hours of online volunteer training, and
• Complete a 1 hour in-person orientation

Nathan Adelson Hospice is the only non-profit hospice in Southern Nevada and provides care to more than 400 hospice and palliative patients.
