Donate blood and save lives at the first Pahrump community blood drive of 2021! With the impact of COVID-19 on business and school closures, thousands of blood drives have been canceled, resulting in a loss of over 27,000 uncollected blood donations. Now is a more important time than ever to donate blood and help hospital patients in critical need of blood transfusions. One blood donation saves up to three lives!

All donors will receive a COVID-19 antibody test with their donation. Those that receive positive results will have the opportunity to become convalescent plasma donors to help hospitalized COVID-19 patients who are critically ill in the hospitals suffering with the virus. January is celebrated as National Blood Donation month and we encourage all donors who are healthy and well to donate blood during this critical time. At this time each year, the blood supply declines by 25% due to the holidays and it's an important time to give back to the community to those who critically need a blood transfusion in our local hospitals.
