DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Electric Association\, you are invited to participate in the Nye County School District (NCSD) strategic planning process with the NCSD Superintendent\, Warren Shillingburg\, PhD\, to provide input into the future direction of the District. The strategic plan will give NCSD a new Vision and Mission statement\, a Portrait of a Graduate\, and 4-6 goals that will guide our focus for the next five years. Your participation will be a valuable part of the strategic planning process. This strategic planning meeting will occur at the Valley Electric Association Conference Center\, 800 E. NV-372\, Pahrump\, NV\, on April 20\, 2023\, at 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. By working together\, we hope to provide input into a strategic plan that everyone can support and stand behind as NCSD continues to focus on student achievement. The NCSD Superintendent\, Warren Shillingburg\, PhD's goal is to present the final Strategic Plan to the NCSD Board of Trustees at the May 2023 board meeting for approval. Then in June\, they will set up a day for district-wide committees to create the annual objectives to meet each of the goals. Please note that this is a FREE MEMBERS ONLY EVENT and you MUST REGISTER to attend. NO WALK-INS WILL BE PERMITTED.
